Ronnie C. McClure, PhD, CPA
Ronnie C. McClure, PhD, CPA has practiced as a tax professional since 1973. He is a former ?Big Eight? tax partner and has practiced in small firm partnerships, and as a sole proprietor. For four years Ronnie served on the graduate tax faculty at the University of North Texas, teaching partnerships, S corporations, estate and gift taxation, tax research, and introduction to taxation. He has written and taught extensively on a wide variety of subjects, including: partnerships and LLCs, corporations, S corporations, estate and gift taxation, taxation of estates and trusts, choice of entity, and judicial doctrines in taxation. He has also taught on ethics and professional responsibilities in tax practice, IRS practice and procedures, utilization of pass-through losses, business succession planning, charitable estate planning, and tax issues of not-for-profit organizations. His current practice includes tax return preparation, and consultation on trans-generational wealth preservation and transmission, family and estate tax planning, charitable gift planning, tax issues of non-profit organizations, business succession planning, transactional planning, and financial planning. Ronnie holds securities and insurance licenses, and is a Credentialed Mediator by the Texas Mediation Credentialing Association. He has, and continues, to serve on the boards of numerous charitable organizations.
